Hi and welcome to A Westie Is Born. My name is Simon Millward and along side me on the build is my long suffering dad Mark. I am constructing a Wesfield kit car using a Mazda MX-5 as a donor vehicle. On this site you will find a diary giving all the major steps I'm taking to build the car, a help page on any and all problems I've encountered during the build and how I solved them, and anything else I think you should know before embarking on a project like this ...........
It is my hope that this site will encourage people who are thinking of having a go to finally take the plunge, and if I can take a bit of the pain away by pointing out some of the pitfalls along the way, then so much the better.
UPDATE!: Hey guys thanks so much for taking your time to visit this site, Im now back on track with the build within the next couple of months i will have the finishing kit and the build will be well on its way to being finished i have updated a few things i have done to the car since the last update and i will be upload some new pictures shortly hope everyones builds are on their way to i will also be putting a link on the contact page if you would like to send me some pictures of your builds i will be putting a members page on here also , thanks again guys and like i said before im a fully trained mechanic if you have any questions on ur car or problems you may be having dont hesitate to contact me on awestieisborn@googlemail.com i will be happy to help you out
